First, the preservation of drill rods:

1: Make sure to remove internal water and properly lubricate.

Then, save the hammer:

1. Short-term storage:

(1) Remove the water inside and outside the hammer;

(2) Add 1 liter of calf oil from the upper joint part;

(3) Let the wind blow for about 10 seconds to fully lubricate the internal parts;

(4) Cover the upper and lower joints with rubber sleeves respectively.

(5) Place it horizontally in a dry environment.

(6) If stored for a long time, disassemble the striker and properly lubricate all parts, then assemble the striker and proceed to the fourth and fifth steps.

2. Re-enable

(1) Disassemble the hammer and check all parts. If any fault is found, please repair or replace it in time. Drilling tool life may be shortened if used without testing.

(2) Clean all parts, clean and lubricate properly.

(3) After the drill is assembled and confirmed to be correct, it can be put into use.

Many people may think it's more than just a shocker, because of the limited conditions in the mine, it's usually casually dropped, and it's still used. But why are the profits of projects with similar conditions so different? A large part of the reason may be the management of equipment and drill consumables. Careful management and maintenance can definitely save a lot of money. Record the wear of the drilling tool. For example, the hammer has been used for several months, compared, adjusted, stored as recommended, and properly maintained and lubricated exactly as required.
