It has four flexible and powerful mechanical arms, each of which can automatically complete 5 meters deep drilling operations within 2 minutes. On November 24, the first domestically-made four-arm rock drilling rig independently developed by China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Group was officially unveiled. The equipment can be used for tunnel excavation and support operations such as railways and highways, filling the gap of domestic high-end rock drilling construction equipment.
Liu Jinshu, deputy dean of the Special Equipment Research and Design Institute of China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Group, introduced that in addition to four robotic arms, this four-arm rock drilling rig also has a smart "brain", loaded with intelligent complete sets of equipment, so that the whole machine has It has functions such as fully intelligent excavation and drilling, advanced geological drilling and analysis, grouting reinforcement, and coordinated charging.
Liu Jinshu introduced that during the development process, the development team has overcome key core technologies such as precise control of redundant-degree-of-freedom manipulator drilling and integration of intelligent rock drilling rigs. In the manufacturing process, according to the actual needs of the project, the equipment can be equipped with functional modules such as fine face recognition, semi-automatic grouting, automatic pipe shed tooling, mechanized charging, etc., to realize unmanned or less humanized construction and improve operation safety.
In terms of performance, compared with the three-arm rock drill rigs that are widely used in the market, the four-arm rock drill rig covers an area of up to 200 square meters at one time, which is equivalent to two three-arm rock drill rigs operating at the same time.
