Down-the-hole drilling tools are composed of drill pipes, button bits and hammer. When drilling, use two drill rods to drill in, stainless steel plates. The rotary air supply mechanism is composed of a rotary motor, a rotary reducer, and an air supply gyrator. The slewing reducer is a three-stage cylindrical gear closed heterogeneous component, which is automatically lubricated with a spiral oiler.

The air supply gyrator is composed of a connecting body, a seal, a hollow main shaft and a drill pipe joint, etc. It is equipped with a pneumatic gripper for connecting and unloading drill pipes.

The hoisting and pressure-regulating mechanism is driven by the hoisting motor with the help of the hoisting reducer and the hoisting chain, so that the slewing mechanism and the drilling tool are lifted and lowered. In the closed chain system, a pressure regulating cylinder, a moving pulley block and a waterproofing agent are installed. When working normally, the piston rod of the pressure regulating cylinder pushes the moving pulley block to make the drilling tool realize decompression drilling.

Matters needing attention in the construction of down-the-hole drilling tools

1. When operating in different rock formations, choose different types of down-the-hole drill bits, axial pressure and rotational speed according to the hardness and softness of the lithology.

2. When the down-the-hole drilling rig is operating, it must follow the principle of matching the three elements of perforation (wind pressure, axial pressure, and speed) with the parameters recommended by the drill bit sample.

3. Before the drill bit goes into the well, please check the appearance of each part, and check whether the end face of the drill bit thread is consistent with the serial number on the drill bit packing box and certificate of conformity to prevent fraud.

4. The drill bit should be properly stored on the down-the-hole drilling rig to prevent dust and other sundries from entering the drill bit.

5. When replacing the down-the-hole drill bit, it is necessary to ensure that there is no dust inside the drill tool, the air outlet is unobstructed, the threads are oiled, and the drill bit can only be used after it is connected by lifting and rotating.

6. Before replacing a new drill bit, carefully check whether the rotation of the three cones is flexible, and whether the threads and teeth are in good condition.

7. When a new drill bit is run in, it should be operated at low axial pressure and low speed for 20-30 minutes, and then gradually increased to normal axial pressure for use.

8. When a new DTH drill is newly drilled, attention should be paid to clearing the sundries around the hole (rocks, scrap metal, etc.), and while rotating, it should be ventilated and slowed down, close to the surface, so as to prevent drilling from stopping and impacting the drill bit.
