2. Check the thread wear, if it is serious, it should be scrapped in time to avoid breaking during the drilling process and causing greater losses;
3. Check the bending of the drill rod. If it is more serious, stop using it (it can be used after straightening);
4. Be stable when opening the hole, and lower the working pressure parameter to avoid accidental damage;
5. The working parameters should be adjusted in time according to the rock condition and drill bit condition. Due to the gap between the quality of domestic drill rods and foreign top products, the working parameters should be adjusted appropriately; when drilling and slagging compensation, the drill bit should be replaced in time to improve the work efficiency of the drill rod; when the rock is soft, it should be lowered Impact pressure and propulsion force to extend the service life of the drill rod.
6. Choose the correct working parameters of the rock drill: For rock drills with adjustable parameters (impact pressure, impact power, impact frequency, propulsion force, rotation speed), it should be ensured that the large impact energy corresponds to the large size drill rod, and the small impact energy corresponds to the small size drill rod. Rod, otherwise it is easy to cause early fracture and failure of the drill rod;
7. It is recommended to use fast drill rods (MF drill rods) instead of conventional extension rods to improve drilling efficiency;
8. In the case of early fracture (small thread wear), we should notify our company in writing in time to deal with it in time.
